Isla San Pedro Nolasco, Sea of Cortez, Mexico

  *  The above habitat is rich in algae; white and purple Crustose Coralline, and in the upper left, Crustose Coralline algae.  Visible also are featherlike Ostrich Plume Hydroids, probably (Aglaophenia diegensis).  The Nudibranch (Tambja abdere) in shades of green was plentiful on the dive sites on eastern San Pedro Nolasco Island in the month of January. We have found Nudibranch species vary with different years and different seasons.
