* The deeper waters off Champion Island host a number of interesting marine life forms. In the above image, the deep-water Scythe Marked Butterfly Fish (Chaetodon falsifer) swims past a wall covered with a wealth of invertebrates, mostly unidentified. What appear to be orange and grey sponges are scattered about, and a light grey moss-like organism lies to the back of the fish. Perhaps it is a (Bugula sp.).
