| *The drive along the Oregon coast
from Brookings north to Cannon Beach is one of our favorites. One
can witness a quiet evening at Whaleshead Beach, move northward to
Seal Rock State Park, and wind up at Cannon
Beach. This is an especially scenic little excursion, and one we have
made many times, always finding something new. Whaleshead Beach is located off Oregon Coast Highway (Highway 101), near Brookings, Oregon. Its offshore rocks serve as a refuge for Seals, Sea Lions, and Seabirds, and is part of The Seal Rock State Recreational Area. |
