*A peaceful scene. Mount Rundle reflected in one of the Vermillion Lakes, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada. Located a short drive from the town of Banff, the area around Vermillion Lakes is well worth a visit, in fact, several visits. It is of interest to note that out of several hours we spent at the site, only for a brief moment was the water of the lake in the still, mirror-like state pictured above.  -  Early October
