  * This habitat contains several interesting members.  The group of yellow-orange Tube Sponges are a Verongia sp., probably Verongia fistularis.  The Red Cup Sponge is a Mycale sp. , and the Red Rope sponges are Haliclona rubens.  In the background is the Deep Water Gorgonian, Icilogorgia schrammi.  The foreground  contains a clump of green algae.

This grouping was found on a protected shelf  in a deep recess of Grand Cayman Island's Great North Wall.  The depth of the shelf was about 135 feet or 41 meters.
