* Here, a pale purple Spicule Sponge (Callyspongia vaginalis) is covered with Swenson's Brittlestars (Ophiothrix swensonii.)  At the base of the sponge is a Red Rope Sponge (Haliclona rubens) and Red Cup Sponge (Mycale sp..)  Near the base of the Red Cup Sponge are greenish fronds of the Brown Algae (Lobophora variegata.)

The Spicule Sponge appears to be a favorite host for the Swenson's Brittle Star.
